What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We also use comparable browser storage such as localStorage to keep your session, currency choice and cookie preference on your device.
Essential cookies
Required to run the platform: signing in, keeping your checkout order, remembering your selected currency and protecting forms from abuse. These cannot be switched off because the service does not work without them.
Preference cookies
Remember interface choices such as your currency, dismissed banners and stored promo code so you do not re-enter them on every visit.
Analytics cookies
Aggregated, non-identifying measurement of which pages are visited and where people drop off. These are only set when you accept optional cookies.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Preference and analytics cookies live for up to twelve months, after which your choice is requested again.
Managing cookies
Use the cookie banner to accept all or essential-only cookies. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Third parties
We do not sell cookie data and we do not run advertising networks or cross-site tracking pixels on Silae.
